Fusion and lasers creating energy

The BBC has an article about future the future of energy production could be in the use of lasers squeezing together atoms of hydrogen. But I thought lots of energy was needed to create a laser in the first place? Who knows? Well I guess the scientists at the Iter Fusion venture do.

No more textbooks??

I predict in 5 years time we won’t be issuing text books to students and they won’t be lugging around heavy rucksacks. Instead they’ll have a plastic textbook reader which will store all theri books and magazines. I can’t wait for a paperless system!! The BBC has an interesting review here![]()
