Climate Change - A Myth Buster..
22/10/2007 by Chris Prettejohn.

So you keep bumping into Climate Change deniers and they say that the climate change is actually a natural change or it's all to do with the sun and its sunspots. Well the Royal Society which is a UK national academy of science which is at the cutting edge of scientific progress has put together an excellent set of information explaining why climate change is a very real threat and human caused. Well worth a look.

More Depressing Amazon News
17/10/2007 by Chris Prettejohn.

After a period of relative slow growth in Amazon Deforestation it seems as though the loggers are at it again. This Guardian article makes for depressing news. An interesting point is made in the comment
“If you were stood next to your house and there was a mahogany tree
next to you which would be worth R$5,000 (£1,360) if you chopped it
down and your son was there crying out with hunger what would you do?”

Incredible Wingsuits!!
14/10/2007 by Chris Prettejohn.

This is incredible.
People wearing special flying suits basejumping down a gorge. I'd
imagine the adrenalin rush would be something else. The bit where he
nearly touches a bend on a road is incredible. It must be true as it's
on the BBC too. Me, I'll stick to the rush of plaining a windsurf board!
