CO2 Lake Natural Hazard

This article relates to the sudden release of 1.2 cubic kilometres of CO2 from a lake in Cameroon that killed nearly 1,800 people and 3,000 cattle along with countless wild animals, birds and insects.
The solution to drill in and release the gas is also intriguing.
Fascinating and also a possible ominous warning to those Global Warming sceptics…
